Blue Eyed Sun is a band of three musicians who met deep in the woods of Northern Michigan and came together to create the music they love.
In late 2012 and into 2013, they recorded their debut album Tidal Sound at Halohorn Studios in Traverse City. It was then mixed at Blackbird Studios in Nashville by two time Grammy winning engineer, David Hall (Gavin Degraw, Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Fall Out Boy), and Mastered by Benny Quinn (Lady Antebellum, Marshall Tucker Band).
"These boys create real music, just like we used to in the old days."
Michael Omartian, Four Time Grammy Winning producer, composer and arranger.
"This was such a fun project to work on. This sounds really good."
David Hall, two-time Grammy winning recording engineer and Producer.

Jordan Stephens, Music Strategy, CMT.
"Brennan Leeds has shown an incredible musical gift at a tender age, for as long as I have known him. A cross between Bob Dylan and Stevie Ray Vaughan--with the contemporary sensibilities of the Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons with a dash of humor from the likes of Flight of the Concords...clearly Brennan will be a musical force to be reckoned with in his generation.
-- truly genius and one of a kind."
