Blue Eyed Sun is a band of three musicians who met deep in the woods of Northern Michigan and came together to create the music they love.

In late 2012 and into 2013, they recorded their debut album Tidal Sound at Halohorn Studios in Traverse City. It was then mixed at Blackbird Studios in Nashville by two time Grammy winning engineer, David Hall (Gavin Degraw, Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Fall Out Boy), and Mastered by Benny Quinn (Lady Antebellum, Marshall Tucker Band).

Brennan Leeds got an early start in Nashville playing all the guitar tracks on his debut album on music row by age fourteen. Dubbed the next Paul Simon by legendary four time Grammy winning producer Michael Omartian (Christopher Cross, Cliff Richard, Madonna, Donna Summer, Steely Dan), Leeds has been writing and playing live since he was ten years old.

Kenneth Fox is a (once underground) songwriter, and self-taught pianist and guitarist. By the time Kenneth was 16 he had already written and recorded a 14-song solo album at his house in Manchester. Aspiring to escape his small town, Kenneth started an online crowd funding campaign that raised over $7000 towards paying the tuition to the boarding school where he would eventually meet the other members of Blue Eyed Sun.

Casey Batterbee found his first love in the drum set, honing his skills in jazz at a prestigious arts camp for three years. After his years at camp playing with seasoned jazz veterans, as well as other up-and-comers in his own age group, Casey went on to attend the same boarding school as Brennan Leeds and Kenneth Fox. Though he truly honed his skills in jazz, Casey had been immersed in all kinds of music since childhood (Led Zeppelin and the Beatles to name a few), and truly found a home within Blue Eyed Sun, integrating the entirety of his former experience to create a brand new sound.

The three together create an unforgettable performance of sentimental, catchy, and anthemic tunes about whatever is on their mind.
